UNHCR temporarily closes voluntary repatriation centre in Quetta The UNHCR-assisted voluntary repatriation of Afghans through Quetta has been temporarily suspended. UNHCR’s Baleli (Quetta) and Hayatabad (Peshawar) Voluntary Repatriation Center (VRC) are closed until further notice. Registered Afghans wishing to return home via Hayatabad and Baleli VRCs are advised to check with UNHCR staff before they start the repatriation process. An announcement will be made once repatriation through Hayatabad and Baleli VRC is resumed.
