Revised operating hours for Voluntary Repatriation Centres (VRCs) for Pakistan The UNHCR assisted voluntary repatriation programme for registered Afghans in Pakistan will close to observe the Pakistan Independence holiday on 14 August. The Voluntary Repatriation Centre (VRC) in Chamkani, Peshawar, will close to observe the holiday on Sunday 15 August following its normal weekend of 13 and 14 August. Repatriation activities will resume on Monday 16th August 2010. The VRC in Baleli, Quetta, will close on 14 August following the normal weekend closures on 12 & 13 August and resume activities on Sunday 15 August. During the month of Ramadan, VRCs will operate during the amended following hours: Chamkani VRC will observe the following timing:- Sunday – Wednesday: 08:00 am to 14:30 pm Thursday 08:00 am to 13:00 pm
Baleli VRC will be open the following times: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday: 8:00 am to 1: 00 pm Sunday: 8:00 am to 1200 pm Thursdays and Fridays: off for weekends
